DAY 1 : MARRAKECH – TERRES D’AMANAR – MARRAKECH
After breakfast in your hotel, a jeep will insure the transfer to the superb TERRES D’AMANAR, which is an estate located at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, only 30 minutes away from Marrakesh, and abuts on the pristine 100,000ha (247,000 acres) of forests of the Toubkal National Park, perfectly epitomizes ecotourism in Morocco, also it’s suitable for families, friends, couples or colleagues. This is your natural boost through funny, sports, natural and cultural as well as crafty and traditional activities of this Berber area. The whole day will be enjoyed with activities and relaxing. Back to the hotel in Marrakesh in the Afternoon.

DAY 2 : Marrakech
Marrakesh on your own. Enjoy a stroll through the Medina and get lost in the labyrinth of the souks. Time for a cup of “Thé à la Mente” before you admire the “Red City” from one of the ancient horse-drawn carriages, which will take you all around town. Enjoy lunch in one of the many restaurants around Djemaa el-Fna. Late afternoon is the perfect time to wander around Djemaa el-Fna. Whatch the snake charmers, jugglers, musicians and magicians. Dinner at leisure and overnight at Riad Aladdin including breakfast.

DAY 3 : Marrakech – Telouet – Ait Benhaddou
Your driver will pick you up at 9.00 am at your accommodation in Marrakech. You will travel through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tichka Pass (2260 m) – the highest road pass in Morocco offering spectacular panoramic views of the mountains and valleys with a winding road. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes with different colors and the Berber villages along the way.

After crossing the Tizin-Tichka we will continue on a little side street towards Telouet. This small mountain village used to be an important pass through the High Atlas and therefore the seat of the mighty Pasha Glaoui. His castle is still well preserved and can be visited. Lunch will be served in a typical village restaurant.

Refreshed we will head on with our 4×4 Jeep towards Animiter and from there through the beautiful Ounila Valley to Tamdaght and Ait Benhaddou. This centuries-old Kasbah has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ait Benhaddou was used as scenery for the blockbuster film of Gladiator. Enjoy a stroll through this beautiful Kasbah and its village. Overnight including half board at Ksar Ighnda, Ait Benhaddou.

DAY 4 : Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura
Today we will have an exciting start. After breakfast we will drive to Ouarzazate, named “Hollywood of Morocco” and visit the famous Film Studios. The journey will take us further to the Fint oasis, where the children can enjoy a funny ride through the oasis on the back of a donkey. Lunch will be served here. In the afternoon we slowly make our way back to Ouarzazate, where you have the opportunity to visit the Kasbah Taourirt, followed by a drive to Skoura, where you will spend the night. Stay in a family room at the Auberge Chez Talout, which is beautifully situated above the palm gardens. The children can quickly jump into the pool before dinner will be served. Overnight including half board at Les Jardins de Skoura, Skoura.

DAY 5 : Skoura – Dades – Tamtetouchte
After breakfast we will drive on the “Road of Kasbahs” towards Er Rachidia. This is the name of the route from Ouarzazate to Er Rachidia with the Dades and Todra canyon, both attractive highlights of this area, which perhaps is one of the most beautiful region of Morocco. The landscape is barren and dry with occasional camel thorn bushes, until suddenly a oasis with its green gardens, kasbahs and red roses are appearing.

The Dades Valley is a center of the famous rose water and rose oil, gained from the millions of very intense and fragrant flowers, sold in many places along the road. A side road from El Kelaa is leading us to the Rose Valley and to the Dades Gorge.

Enjoy lunch before you walk through the Gorge with a local guide. Continuation to the mountain village of Tamtatouchte where we will spend the night. Auberge les Amis is a very family friendly place with plenty of activities. If you are lucky, maybe one of the owners will show you his magic tricks! DAY 6 : Tamtetouchte – Tinerhir – Tazzarine – Zagora
Enjoy breakfast at Auberge les Amis before we head off to the next attraction. Through the Todra Gorge we will reach Tinerhir and then continue towards Alnif. This area is rich in fossils. Together with a local guide you will try to find some of this unique and beautiful stones. Today we will enjoy lunch somewhere along our way. After our arrival in Zagora, you will have enough time to relax or jump into the refreshing pool. Overnight including half board at Les Jardins de Draa, Zagora.

DAY 7 : Zagora – Tamegroute – Erg Lihoudi
After breakfast we continue from Zagora towards the Desert. If you are lucky, you will have the opportunity to visit the local weekly market. Then we will head on to Tamegroute. It will be an exciting experience for the children to watch the local potters at work and visit the underground Kasbah. Lunch at the Hotel Kasbah Sahara Services in Mhamid. Now it is time to hop on the back of our camels which are already waiting for you. Off we go directly across the sand dunes of Erg Lihoudi. After around 1.5 hours on our “Desert-Ship” we will reach our nomad camp. Overnight including half board at Sahara Services Standard Camp, Erg Lihoudi. After dinner tamtam-workshop for the kids.

DAY 8 : Erg Lihoudi – Ouarzazate – Tisselday
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes and have breakfast. Take a ride in our 4×4 back to Mhamid from where we will drive back through the wonderful Draa valley with its thousands of Palm Trees towards Agdz, discovering the hidden treasures of the Southern region. The journey continues on to Ouarzazate and further to the little village of Tisselday in the high Atlas. Overnight including half board at Guesthouse Irocha, Tisselday.

DAY 9 : Tisselday – Marrakech
After a nice breakfast on the sunny terrace of our Guesthouse, we will make our way back towards Marrakech by crossing the sceneries of the high Atlas Mountains at the pass of 2.260 m high. We will be back in “The Red City” by early afternoon. Transfer to the airport and flight back home or continuation of your stay in Morocco.
