Imperial cities and desert

Day 1: Casablanca

Pick up at the airport and transfer to your hotel, but before you will visit the mosque of Hassan II (the largest mosque in Morocco, and one of the largest in the world). Overnight at Four Season hotel.

  Day 2: Casablanca-Rabat-Meekness-Fez    3 h 33 min(319 km)

Breakfast and the departure to Rabat, you will visit the Kasbah of Oudaias, Hassan tower and Mausoleum of Mohamed V. Afterwards you will continue your trip to Meknes; the third imperial city with its famous door, you will explore Bab El Mansour (one of the beautiful gateway), and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Lunch in Meknes. And then you will discover the old Roman ruins of Volubilis, Finally drive to Fez. Overnight at Riad Fes

 Day 3: Fez

After breakfast, you will have full day guided visit of the city with English speaking guide to explore the royal city; you will start your visit by the old medina with its rampart and narrow streets that was declared as UNESCO world heritage site in 1981, and the Merinid tombs ruins. You will visit also the Bouanania and the Attarine Medersas constructed in the early 14th century, the Karaouine mosque and the Nejjarine marble fountain. Afterwards break for lunch at a typical Moroccan restaurant. In the afternoon, you will explore the decorated gateway of Boujloud and the Royal Palace, and then the souk where craftsmen sell their hand-made jewellery, leather goods, copperware and pottery.   Day 4: Fez-Midelt-Erfoud    6 h 19 min(410 km)

Breakfast and then departure to the south of Morocco, and exactly Erfoud. You will travel through the middle atlas mountains with their cedar wood and Ifran city, Lunch in Midelt, in the afternoon, you will continue your trip through the ziz valley till Errachidia and Erfoud, overnight at Xaluca Erfoud hotel.

  Day 5: Erfoud-Rissani-Merzouga   54 min(60.1 km)

After breakfast, you will take the road to Erg Chebbi, you will pass by Rissani, village known by its date market, and the native village of the Alaouite dynasty. Lunch, and then you will continue your trip to Merzouga, once you arrive, you will ride the camels in order to reach the camp and enjoy the sunset, welcome tea, dinner and overnight at luxury desert camps.

  Day 6: Merzouga-Todgha Gorges-Dades valley-Skoura   4 h 36 min(323 km)

If you like, you can wake up to enjoy the sunrise on the big dunes of Erg Chebbi, and then breakfast and shower. Afterwards you will leave desert and head to Skoura (Dar Ahlam). In your way, you will stop in Todgha Gorges (is a canyon in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains) for visit and possibility to hike in the gorge along a well-maintained paved road. The scenery is spectacular. Afterwards you will continue your trip to Skoura via the Dades and rose valley with their berber village. Overnight at Dar Ahlam.

  Day 7: Skoura-Ouarzazate-Ait Ben Haddou-Marrakech   4 h 21 min(238 km)

this day your destination will be Marrakesh, but before, you visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou; declared as UNESCO world heritage site (it will give you an idea about how the village are constructed in the south of Morocco) Afterwards you continue your trip via the high Atlas Mountains and tizi-ntichka pass. Overnight at Royal Mansour hotel.

 Day 8: Marrakech

Free day at leisure. Overnight at Royal Mansour

 Day 9: Marrakech
Free day at leisure. Overnight at Royal Mansour

 Day 10: Marrakech
Transfer to the airport.
